Rich's New Book Release Teaches Kids to Overcome Challenges in a Positive Way

1888PressRelease - Susie Rich's new book, Too Much Hopscotch, provides a fun, accessible lesson for kids on how to think in ways that will help them to overcome challenges.

Boston, Mass. - Reading inspiring books can be much more than just entertainment to kids. Too Much Hopscotch, a new children's book authored by Susie Rich, is a book that teaches and entertains at the same time. In reading this quickly moving book with lovely illustrations, kids will enjoy seeing how Becky deals with a breakfast that she just doesn't want to eat and challenges that appear directly on her hopscotch board, preventing her from playing her favorite game.

Young readers will not only enjoy the unexpected twists in the story behind Too Much Hopscotch, but they will learn how to deal with life's challenges in a positive way based on Becky's conversations and actions. Rich uses the hopscotch board as a metaphor for life and for the way that we all approach issues when they crop up. Readers will benefit and learn from seeing how Becky goes to friends, family and neighbors for bits of wisdom to help her overcome the barriers to her game.

Susie Rich, a gifted writer and social work professional, has now combined her two loves in Too Much Hopscotch. Throughout her career, Rich has worked with families to prevent homelessness while also developing a reputation as an author of short stories and a novel. Using her love of families and writing, she has provided an affirming book for kids to help them understand that life always comes with challenges and that overcoming them requires a positive attitude and reliance on others.

Ideal for young readers, libraries and schools, this book will keep children captivated with the surprises on every page. Too Much Hopscotch is a must read for children who will inevitably face challenges in their lives and for the caregivers who want to prepare them. A follow up to Too Much Hopscotch, How My Daddy Taught Me to Dance has just been released and is the story of a young girl who has a passion for music and dance and must face the challenges of an upcoming audition. Readers who love Too Much Hopscotch will be excited by How My Daddy Taught Me to Dance.
